PHOTOS THAT BRING YOU HOME
Toronto Family Photographer
Cinematic, unposed, and made for real life
As a Toronto family photographer, my approach goes beyond posed portraits. I believe in capturing genuine, unscripted moments that beautifully tell your family's story. Through my documentary style, I'll seamlessly blend into your daily routines, special occasions, or family outings across Toronto, preserving the authentic emotions and connections shared among your loved ones. You'll feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process and take home photographs you'll cherish for a lifetime.
I have a deep appreciation for the vibrant, diverse communities that make this city so special, and I love incorporating the items and locations that hold meaning for you —whether that's your living room in the Annex, wandering through High Park, or skipping stones at The Beaches. Every family has a unique narrative, and as your Toronto family photographer, I'm passionate about telling yours. Your photographs should reflect the love, laughter, and joy that define your family, and I'll make sure every image speaks volumes.
What a Session With Me Actually Looks Like
Let's skip the part where we pretend your living room is always spotless or your kids love sitting completely still. As your Toronto family photographer, my goal is simply to hang out and document your actual, wonderful, chaotic life.
Whether that means practicing karate in the garage on the Bridle Path, exploring the trails down at Evergreen Brick Works in the fall, or catching the skyline view from Cherry Beach while the sun goes down, we keep things extremely low-stakes.
The Clock: Expect the photography time to last anywhere between 60 to 90 minutes. It’s long enough for the initial "what do I do with my hands" feeling to fade, and short enough to beat the toddler hangry blues.
The Vibe: I’ll arrive with my cameras harnessed up and ready to go, and my only real agenda is to let everyone start by being their unfiltered selves for a bit. The best shots happen while you are busy just being a family! After that, the world is our oyster—games, walks, naptime—whatever works well for you.
The Goods: In 3 to 4 weeks, I will send over a full gallery of beautifully edited, high-resolution images. They will be ready to print, frame, or just scroll through on your phone.
The Sky: Toronto weather loves a plot twist, so we will always have a rock-solid rain plan in our back pocket. If things look scary, I’ll check in 48 hours before to make a game plan.
Nostalgia for the Here and Now.

Asked Questions
-
Whatever you would actually wear on a really good Sunday at home. Please skip the itchy matching sweaters and stiff collars. We want cozy layers, clothes your kids can actually climb in, and outfits you won't panic over if they happen to get a little dirt on them. When in doubt, basics are your best friend. Keep it simple!
-
Anywhere across the city and the wider GTA that feels like you. Whether that means making a mess in your Junction condo, exploring the cobblestone lanes of the Distillery District, catching the lake breeze at Scarborough Bluffs, or hanging out in your own backyard in Mississauga... As your Toronto family photographer, I am always game to explore the spots your family actually hangs out in.
-
Only if you don't mind if I weep with joy! I have an 80lb Golden Retriever/German Shepherd at home, so all sizes are welcome here! Pets are family, and I am always thrilled when the animal children get to join in. The more chaos, the better!
-
Honestly? Bring on the chaos. There is zero behaving required here. If someone needs a snack break, a hug, or just a good cry, we roll with it. Some of my favourite, most genuine photos happen right in the middle of a meltdown or immediately after.
-
Reaching out about a month or so before usually does the trick. That said, fall sessions book up lightning fast the second the leaves start turning, so reach out a bit earlier if you have your heart set on an autumn backdrop.
-
Yes! Toronto houses and condos are not exactly known for being sprawling. You do not need a massive, spotless, magazine-worthy home to get beautiful photos. All we really need is one good window and your family. We can clear a little pocket of space near the natural light and let the fun begin!
