A legacy session is a wonderful way to not only capture a lifetime of memories but also create a keepsake for generations to enjoy. I sit down with the subject in the comfort of their own home and we cover stories they’re comfortable sharing from childhood all the way to where they are now. The video will be woven together with family photos, memorable items, and music to bring their story to life.
Generations of Love
My grandfather was the inspiration to all of this. I realized well into my adult life that I don’t actually know his backstory despite him being such a huge presence in my life. Sitting down and watching him light up while regaling times of his childhood was something incredibly special and it made me feel like there must be so many other stories out there being left untold. Whether it be someone with an illness or a loved one wanting to preserve their story for future generations, I would be honored to help bring these stories to life.
Preserve Your History
Capturing The Story
We’ll meet in your home or where you’re most comfortable. I’ll bring a few questions with me but mainly I’ll be listening to what you have to say. No rush! We have up to 3 hours to chat. Think of it as sharing stories over coffee rather than a formal interview.
The Little Details
After our chat, I’ll have you walk me through some of your favourite spots in your home where I’ll be taking video footage including any hardcopies of photos or memorabilia. We’ll then end our day with a quick photography portrait session (3 portrait photos of subject only).
Your Keepsake
You’ll email me all your digital photos you’d like included and I’ll edit together the video story. Your final product will be a 45-90 minute video and 3 digital portrait photos. You’ll receive a USB key with your video as well as a private internet video link for you to share with family and friends.

I am happy to stick around for a 1hr family portrait session! This can be done the same day or at another time
